Walk for Breast Cancer

Meet my mom, an incredible woman and three-time breast cancer survivor. Her unwavering courage and resilience through daunting challenges have inspired us all. Despite the toll of treatment, she remained a beacon of hope, teaching us the power of perseverance and positivity. In 2024, she stepped into remission once again, proving she’s a true warrior. Now, we’re rallying to celebrate her victories and support her in this new chapter with a fundraiser to help cover her wellness initiatives.

Along with participating in the monumental walk we will be vending Breast Cancer support products during this one day event. All proceeds go to Breast Cancer Awareness and Kion’s House Corp.

Annual Memorial Flag Football Game

This event honors my son, Kion Edwards, whom was taken form us too soon due to gun violence in 2019. By continuing his legacy of being an unrelenting positive change maker by bringing our vast community together through sport and remembrance. We'll have exciting highlights, including raffles for gifts and prizes as well as an award ceremony to the winning team.

Mother’s Day Appreciation Dinner

Kion’s House Corporation hosted a special Mother’s Day Appreciation Dinner to honor the incredible mothers in our community. The evening featured a beautifully catered five-course meal, a variety of beverages, and desserts, offering a moment of relaxation and recognition for their endless love and sacrifices.

The dinner created a warm and joyful atmosphere, where mothers felt valued and appreciated. It was an opportunity to bring women together, share stories, and strengthen community bonds. This event reminded us all of the vital role mothers play in our lives and the importance of showing them ongoing support and appreciation.

This event honors Kion’s life and legacy, bringing people together to celebrate his passion for basketball while raising awareness about the devastating impact of gun violence. The game fosters a sense of unity and healing as players, families, and friends gather in his memory. With raffles, prizes, and a shared commitment to keeping Kion’s spirit alive, the event not only pays tribute to his life but also inspires hope, community strength, and positive change for future generations.
